Alejandro “Alex” Cestero is the general counsel of Virtuoso, Ltd., the world’s largest, global luxury travel network. He has practiced law for nearly 25 years and has over 20 years of experience as a general counsel, chief compliance officer, corporate secretary and strategic board advisor across the energy, manufacturing, industrial services, and travel/tourism sectors in both private and public companies.

Cestero's experience has particularly focused on corporate transactions, compliance, government investigations and relations, strategy, turnarounds, high-growth environments, and international projects, and has worked on equity and asset transactions with over US$30 billion in value across more than 70 international jurisdictions. His legal practice has covered all manner of B2B, B2B2C, B2C, and B2G issues at companies ranging from $500 million to $15 billion annual revenue.

Additionally, Cestero has experience as president/CEO of an airline support services company, and currently serves on the board of directors of a multi-billion dollar healthcare system. He holds an MBA and BA from Rice University and a JD from Stanford Law School.
