Barry Yau lectures to undergraduate law students at James Cook University, Queensland, Australia. For over a decade Yau lectured in the ANU School of Legal Practice, Australian National University, where he is currently an honorary senior lecturer. Yau also teaches law at James Cook University. Since 2013, Yau has led an Australian longitudinal research project that follows a sample of law students and early career lawyers. Barry Yau has also practiced as a lawyer in government and private firms.
