Anna Triponel is a non-practicing solicitor of England and Wales, a New York attorney, and Paris lawyer. She acted as the principal associate representing US and international clients on M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and venture capital transactions at the law firm of Jones Day in New York. She then consulted for the Harvard Kennedy School of Government to support the mandate of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Business and Human Rights, which led to the development of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. At Triponel Consulting Ltd., she helps lawyers to connect human rights to their day-to-day legal practice. Previously, Tiponel was senior counsel at the Public International Law & Policy Group, in-house counsel at the World Bank, and an advisor at Shift.
