ACC Charlotte Chapter Hosts CLE on Diversity

Dr. Dennis A. Davis discusses diversity in the workplace with ACC Charlotte CLE attendees.

T he ACC Charlotte Chapter was proud to welcome Dr. Dennis A. Davis, Ph.D., director of client training at Ogletree Deakins, who provided an excellent Diversity CLE entitled "Eliminating Bias, Bigotry, and Bad Decision Making in the Workplace."

Davis discussed the human brain and unconscious bias and how it can affect those in the workplace. He also discussed the Five R's: Review, Recognize, Reinforce, Resist, and Remove. He offered practical workplace scenarios and was a very entertaining presenter, leaving members wanting him to continue for another hour!

ACC Charlotte appreciates their generous sponsor Ogletree Deakins who flew him out to North Carolina from California and hosted this event at a local brewery, followed by a networking reception.
